The Society of Construction Law, India was formed with an affiliation to the Society of Construction Law in the United Kingdom which was founded in 1983. The Society was formed with a perceived need for a body to promote research and education in the field of construction law and a means by which people from all sectors of the construction industry, including lawyers, arbitrators, experts, contractors, architects, engineers, quantity surveyors, insurers, etc. throughout the country and overseas could come together to discuss issues relating to construction law.



Aims to promote education, study and research in the field of construction law and provide networking and educational opportunities to all professionals along with internationally published resources.



Strictly independent of commercial interests. It act as a forum for the better understanding of construction law and its practical application in the industry in India as well as around the globe.



Maintains ties with its sister societies in other parts of the world so that members are kept up-to-date about news and upcoming events in the construction industry in thouse jurisdictions.



Welcomes new members and invites anyone with a strong interest in construction law to apply for a membership.
